Your data stays on your device

Privacy Policy

QuantumLeap is an offline educational app published by the developer identified on its Google Play listing. This policy explains the app’s data practices.

Data the app accesses, collects, or shares

QuantumLeap does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal or sensitive user data. It has no account system, advertising, analytics, crash reporting, tracking, cloud sync, or remote service. The production Android app is built without Internet or network-state permission.

Google Play may process information independently when a user views, purchases, downloads, or updates the app. That processing is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy. QuantumLeap does not receive or store a user’s payment card or banking details.

On-device learning progress

The app stores completed lesson and challenge identifiers, daily challenge completion dates, and your last activity in local app storage on your device. It also saves unfinished quiz answers, reading positions, qubit experiments, challenge and lab circuits, walkthrough steps and predictions, simulated measurement counts, and lab display choices so you can resume your work. The app itself never transmits this information. It is used only to restore your learning session, display progress, and calculate on-device challenge streaks.

Users can delete this information at any time from About → Learning progress → Reset. Uninstalling the app also removes its app-local data, subject to the device platform’s backup and restore behavior.

Data retention and security

Because QuantumLeap does not transmit user data, the developer does not retain user data on a server. On-device progress remains until the user resets it, clears the app’s data, or uninstalls the app. The app requests no sensitive Android permissions.

Children

QuantumLeap is general educational material intended for older teens and adults and is not directed to children under 16. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Changes

If the app’s functionality or data practices change, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before the changed version is released.
